We are so excited about what Chris is doing for cancer research for kids this St. Patrick's Day!! He is shaving his head and raising money for this great cause! It is funny because most guys are anxious to see themselves without hair. For Chris, it is the opposite! He always keeps his hair so short, so watching it grow and grow until St. Patrick's Day is the great part for us.
If you would like to donate to this amazing charity and support Chris in his shaving efforts, please follow this link:

Trip to NYC
Today, my friend and I ventured to NYC with five boys! Our mission: The Museum of Natural History.
We started off a bit later than we had planned, because I cancelled our plans this morning because L had been up all night not feeling so well. By 9 am, it was pouring rain here and the kids were bouncing off the walls, so I quickly reversed my decision!! After loading the kids into the minivan with all the boosters, carseat, baby gear, etc., we were headed on our way. About 15 minutes into the trip I realized I had left one VERY important object behind....the stroller!! Would not advise anyone to try it, but it actually ended up working out okay for us. Luckily, S is so easy, just heavy! We had a great time, with a stop at Magnolia's Bake Shop before heading home. Made it home just in time, because as L was unlocking the door, he threw up everywhere!!Not a great ending to a fun day, but memorable!

Sand and Snow!
Has is really been that long since I've blogged???
We just got back from a great vacation in Aruba. It has become one of our favorite places to go to escape the cold winters and to relax and enjoy with family. This year was no exception! Lots of fun days in the pool and ocean...floating down the lazy river, lots of drinks from the swim-up bar, too many trips down the waterslide and of course our annual Jolly Pirate adventure!!
We came home to snow and this week got even more of it. The kids had two days off from school! Been busy sleigh riding, drinking hot chocolate and shoveling!!
